Compensation & Benefits
Our mission and values, as well as Catholic social teaching, call on us to build trusting, fair and just relationships with all of our associates. One way we do this is by offering our associates competitive compensation and benefits packages that demonstrate our respect for their skills and knowledge, our commitment to justice and human dignity and our promise to promote wellness of body, mind and spirit.
Compensation and benefits packages vary by job type, full-time or part-time status and CHP facility. Basic benefit components are:
- Medical Insurance
- Dental Insurance
- Flexible Spending Accounts or Health Savings Accounts
- Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance
- Life Insurance
- Retirement Savings Plan
- Tuition Reimbursement
- Paid Time Off
- Paid Holidays
Some associates may also receive additional benefits such as vision insurance, discounts for holistic therapies, discounted memberships at fitness facilities and use of an Employee Assistance Program (provides counseling).
One of our guiding principles is that none of our lower wage associates should be paid less than our targeted indexed minimum wage, which is consistently well above the federal minimum wage. CHP's targeted indexed wage is set above the federal poverty level for a family of four and is adjusted for the cost of living in the areas where our facilities are located.
