The report estimated economic impact for calendar year 2005, the last year for which current information was available at the time the research was done. The information below refers to St. Mary's Health Partners because the research was conducted before the St. Mary’s and Baptist health systems merged on January 2, 2008 to form Mercy Health Partners (Tennessee).

St. Mary’s North Imaging, Women’s and Cancer Center was ranked as one of the nation’s top five freestanding imaging centers in the January 2006 issue of Medical Imaging, a national magazine covering news and trends in health technology management.
St. Mary’s Health Partners received the Southeastern Association of Area Agencies on Aging’s 2006 Outstanding Community Service Award for its outreach program assisting senior citizens enrolling in the new Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Benefit Program.
In the eHealthcare Leadership Awards competition, St. Mary’s Health Partners’ website – www.stmaryshealth.com – won the 2006 Award of Distinction for Site Design in the Healthcare System category and the 2007 Award of Distinction for Healthcare Systems in the Best Health/Healthcare Content category and the 2007 Silver Award for Healthcare Systems in the Best Interactive Site category.
The St. Mary’s Team Challenge for Seniors Program, which helps seniors develop healthier lifestyles, was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation in 2007 from the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
