    St. Rita’s Medical Center received Lifeline of Ohio’s Hospital of the Year Award for its role in saving lives through organ and tissue donation.

    St. Rita’s Medical Center was one of the recipients of the American College of Cardiology Foundation’s ACTION Registry and GWTG Silver Performance Achievement Award in 2008 for improvement in the treatment of acute myocardial infarction patients.

    The Northwest Ohio Colorectal Cancer Task Force, of which St. Rita’s Medical Center is a leading member, was named to a list of 14 finalists nationally for the American Hospital Association’s NOVA Award.
