Governance & Executive Management
CHP's operating model allows us to balance the interests of our patients, our associates, our physician partners, our local communities, our management teams, our board members, our co-sponsors and the Church. It also enables our large and complex ministry to be very agile in working together to fulfill our commitments to quality and excellence, social justice and the allocation of our resources to best serve those in need.
Governance
At the sponsorship/governance level, leaders partner to define our mission and values into bylaws and strategic/financial plans that guide our ministry. Our sponsors create expectations; the CHP corporate board of trustees as well as market boards oversee the fulfillment of these expectations; and management implements action.
Executive Management Team
At the management level, our leadership team consists of both market CEOs and home office executives. Together, we define and assure accountability to each other as we analyze, recommend and approve decisions that apply across our system.
Markets
CHP's markets bring our mission to life, making and implementing decisions that assure we serve all those who need us in their local communities. At the same time, we facilitate collaboration to leverage our combined strengths.
