Free app gives patients mobile access to MyChart

--

Cincinnati, OH (Nov. 22, 2011) -- Patients can download a free application that will let them access MyChart via the Apple iPhone®, iPod touch® or iPad® or via Android™ phones.

MyChart is the secure website that lets patients access their own personal health information online, and MyChart is part of the CarePATH electronic health record system. MyChart is available to patients of physicians employed by Catholic Health Partners (CHP), and now these patients can download a free application that will let them access MyChart via the Apple iPhone®, iPod touch® or iPad® or via Android™ phones.

With MyChart, patients gain more control over their own healthcare. They can view their medical information and test results, send secure messages to their physician and keep track of their appointments -- and those are just a few of the features MyChart offers.

MyChartMobile is an important step forward because now patients can use MyChart even if they're not sitting in front of a computer. If your physician is employed by CHP, you can download this free application that will enable you to access MyChart while you're running errands or heading out to a doctor's appointment.

Patients can even use MyChartMobile to get the phone number and driving directions for their physician's office. In addition, if their family members' MyChart accounts are linked to theirs, patients can use MyChartMobile to view family members' health information.

MyChartMobile does not replace the web-based MyChart, which includes many additional features.

Please note that MyChart and MyChartMobile are available to patients of physicians employed by CHP. Patients must have a MyChart account before they can access MyChartMobile. If you don't already have a MyChart account, please contact your CHP physicians' office to set one up. Once your MyChart account has been set up, here's how you can access MyChartMobile:
